Spring into Writing!

April is Camp NaNoWriMo. Alongside the weekly Writers’ Café Salon, the Marshall Library will host four write-ins during the month of April. Set your writing goal; we will help you get there! We provide the snacks, beverages and a charging station; you provide the inspiration and perspiration!
April 2, 5:00 – 8:00 pm
April 17, 5:00 – 8:00 pm
April 27, 1:00 – 5:00 pm
May 21, 5:00 – 8:00 pm

April 27th is the Twin Cities Teen Lit Con, a free event for teens featuring author talks, writing help, crafts, & more. The Marshall-Lyon County Library will provide free busing for interested teens in grades 7+. Sign-up required. Click here for more information.

Teens Write Workshops will start on May 23 and continue every Thursday afternoon through June 27. Local author Saara Raappana will help teen writers in grades 7-12 develop their skills in fiction and revision. Sign-up required. Registration will be available in late April.
