April is (Digital) Camp NaNoWriMo

Hello Marshall and Lyon County Writers!

Because the Marshall library building is currently not available for gatherings or meetings, we will be moving our Writer’s Cafe and Camp NaNoWriMo activities to a digital space. While National Novel Writing Month is typically in November, Camp NaNoWriMo does not limit participants to working on a novel — feel free to target any word count, and work on any writing project of your liking!

Learn more about Camp NaNoWriMo here: https://nanowrimo.org/what-is-camp-nanowrimo

Currently, we are hosting a community group on the Camp NaNoWriMo website. First, you will need to sign up for NaNoWriMo (which only requires an email address.) After, reach out to the library on Facebook or send an email to thomas.flynn@marshalllyonlibrary.org with your NaNoWriMo username, and we’ll get you added to the group!

If you encounter any difficulties, please email thomas.flynn@marshalllyonlibrary.org with your questions.

And keep an eye on this page for the eventual resuming of our weekly Writers’ Salon meetings! We may not be able to meet face-to-face, but we will continue to support and inspire one another in our respective writing projects!
