Poetry Slam!!!

April 24th

6:00—7:30 pm

A poetry slam is a competition at which poets read or recite original work. To Celebrate National Poetry Month we are bending the rules a bit….you can also recite your favorite poem, as long as you acknowledge the author! Our Slam will be laid back and tons of fun! Come & check it out

 Young Adult Advisory Board

Open to everyone between the 7th and 12th grade!! The mission of the LYMPH is for the teen community to have a director role in shaping their environment and services at their public library. Members offer recommendations for teen programs and special events and help expand the materials in the teen collection such as books, magazines, music, books on CD, and DVDs. A huge goal is to update the teen department to make it more "teen-friendly". This includes ordering posters, furniture, and other ways to decorate the department. Change it up and pick up an application at the Front Desk!
