Car Cinema – A Dog’s Purpose

October 1 @ 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm

Outdoor movie night at the Marshall-Lyon County Library!

With the support of the Plum Creek Library System and the residents of Minnesota, we will be hosting an in-car outdoor movie in the Marshall library parking lot on Friday, October 1st. This week, we’ll be showing A Dog’s Purpose (2017, PG, 1 hour 40 minutes). This film is an adaptation of the W. Bruce Cameron novel of the same name and features a dog’s experiences over several lifetimes as his life intersects with that of the human who rescued him.

The event begins at 7:30 pm.

To ensure sightlines to the screen, space may be limited. Prime spots are first come, first served!

This is an in-vehicle event: you will use your car radio to tune in to the audio of the movie. When you arrive, tune your radio to 88.1 FM.

Want a reminder about this event? Email library@marshalllyonlibrary.org and let us know you want to be on our outdoor movie list.

Because equipment must run outdoors, this event is subject to cancellation due to weather. If, by 4 pm on Friday, the National Weather Service forecasts the chance of precipitation to be 40% or above during the event, the event will be cancelled. Rain during the event may cause the event to end early. Temperatures below 30 degrees may also cause the event to be cancelled. Check the forecast here. Announcements for cancellations will be made on social media, this website, and on Marshall Radio.
