One Book, One Minnesota Follow-Up
April 26 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Marshall-Lyon County Library will be hosting a follow-up virtual discussion of The Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich, after the One Book | One Minnesota state-wide discussion on December 8th. More information about One Book | One Minnesota book and author talk can be found here: http://www.marshalllyonlibrary.org/readers-cafe/book-clubs/one-book-one-mn/
One Book | One Minnesota is a new statewide book club that invites Minnesotans of all ages to read a common title and come together virtually to enjoy, reflect and discuss. Through Ebooks Minnesota, anyone in the state can access the digital book for free, even if they don’t have a library card. Links to resources and more information can be found at thefriends.org/onebook.
Once you’ve read the book and, hopefully, attended the author talk (available digitally through the above link) join your librarians on Monday, April 26th at 4 pm on Zoom.
Registration is required to access the Zoom meeting. Register here: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0sf-2qrDsrGNbAMMx9qJiYD6Bc_VeCJYqP
The Fourth Chapter features Slider by Pete Hautman.
Slider is a middle grade novel about family, neurodivergence, and competitive eating. It’s a fun and poignant family read by a prolific Minnesota author.
