Outdoor Film – Raya and the Last Dragon

August 6 @ 9:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Outdoor movie night at the Marshall-Lyon County Library!

With the support of the Plum Creek Library System and the residents of Minnesota, we will be hosting an outdoor movie at the Marshall-Lyon County Library on Friday, August 6th. This week, we’ll be showing Raya and the Last Dragon (2021, PG, 1 hour 47 minutes). This animated film follows the adventures of a young woman trying to save her world from a life-stealing plague.

The event begins at 9:00 pm.

To ensure sightlines to the screen, space may be limited. Prime spots are first come, first served! We plan to hold this event on the library lawn. Bring what you need to be comfortable!

Want a reminder about this event? Email library@marshalllyonlibrary.org and let us know you want to be on our outdoor movie list.

Because equipment must run outdoors, this event is subject to cancellation due to weather. If, by 4 pm on Friday, the National Weather Service forecasts the chance of precipitation to be 40% or above during the event, the event will be cancelled. Rain during the event may cause the event to end early. Temperatures below 30 degrees may also cause the event to be cancelled. Check the forecast here. Announcements for cancellations will be made on social media, this website, and on Marshall Radio.

Clean Water Land & Legacy Amendment logoThis activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
