Planetarium Show at SMSU

The Marshall-Lyon County Library is sponsoring a free show at the SMSU Planetarium entitled “A Universe of Surprises!” Be sure to arrive early enough to allow time to walk to the planetarium. Once the doors close, you cannot be seated. Showings are at noon and 1 pm.

Space is limited at this venue. Based on current interest, the noon showing may be full. Please plan accordingly.

The Planetarium is located in SMSU’s Science and Math building. Another Planetarium showing was sponsored on Friday, October 18th at 9 am.

This activity is presented as part of Exploring Space, an interactive experience at the Marshall-Lyon County Library through late November 2019.

Exploring Space: Smart Spacecraft, Big Data, and Digital Models, a traveling exhibition for libraries, is part of the STAR Library Network (STAR_Net) led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Exhibit partners include EDC.  Exploring Space is supported through a grant from the National Science Foundation: DRL-1421427.
