Remembering the Great War: Russia 1917

Dr. Anthony Amato, associate professor of Social Science at SMSU, will present a lecture and discussion on the Russian Revolution, titled “Russia 1917: War, Revolution, and Modernity,” at the Marshall-Lyon County Library.

This event will be repeated at SMSU on Wednesday, November 1st at noon in the William Whipple Gallery.

Part of the Remembering the Great War lecture series.

The Remembering the Great War lecture series is a several-year collaboration between Southwest Minnesota State University and the Marshall-Lyon County Library commemorating the 100th anniversary of World War I. Each lecture is presented by an SMSU professor on a different topic of WWI. Lectures are repeated at the Marshall library and in at SMSU.
