POSTPONED – Waste Less, Family Style

Stephanie Bethke-DeJaeghere of the Lyon County Environmental Department will be presenting three Waste-Less Beginners Classes at the Marshall-Lyon County Library. Learn how you can create less waste in your life, reduce clutter, and downsize in home- and earth-healthy ways.
These classes are free and open to the public. They are not consecutive; attend one or attend them all! For more information, contact the Lyon County Environmental Department.
1st class – Monday, March 9th at 5:30 pm
Learn how recycling, composting and disposing of plastic film and plastic bags can decrease your carbon footprint and decrease the amount of trash your family makes each week. Bring your questions on recycling and become a Recycling Master!
2nd class – Monday, March 16th at 5:30 pm
Have stuff you no longer want or need? Need to figure out how to reduce how much stuff you have because you are moving or are spring cleaning?
Come learn how to plan for these activities so you will be prepared when moving day comes or spring cleaning day comes.
3rd class – Monday, March 23rd at 5:30 pm
