Library of Amusements
The Library of Amusements is a collection of nontraditional items available for check-out. These include cake pans, jigsaw puzzles, toys, board games, science activity backpacks, and more.
These collections have special circulation rules. Due to limited availability and funding sources, some may only be available to Lyon County residents. Some may also be limited to one check-out per card or only to adult cards.
- Cake Pans, Jigsaw Puzzles, and Book Club Kits are available to anyone in the Plum Creek Library System. No check-out limit. Anyone can place holds.
- Toy Lending Library items (toys, board games) are available to adults in Lyon County. Limit one toy per card. Contact the library to place holds.
- Video Games are available to adults. Limit one video game per card. Any adult card holder can place holds.
- Juvenile Puzzles are available to any card. Limit three per card. Anyone can place holds.
- World of Wonder science backpacks are available to Lyon County residents. One check-out per card. Contact the library to place holds.
- Reader’s Café To-Go Memory Kits are kits for those with memory loss and their caregivers. Lyon County residents only. One check-out per card. Contact the library to place holds.
- Wi-Fi hotspots are available at all Plum Creek Libraries. One check-out per card. Contact your library to place holds.
