Meeting Space

Our Marshall library location has several rooms available for study or noncommercial use. To inquire about reserving a meeting room, please see the Meeting Room Application.

Use of the meeting and study spaces is subject to the Library’s Meeting Room Policy. More information, including guidelines for using the space and applications for reserving rooms, is available in the side menu.

Free wifi is available throughout the building.

Meeting & Instructional Space

Community Room
100 chairs and 12 movable tables available for use. Each table seats ~6. Maximum capacity: 108.
Projector, sound system, Smart Board, and other media equipment is available for an additional usage fee.
Attached kitchenette also available for use for an additional usage fee.

Minnesota Room
12 chairs, fixed conference table. Maximum capacity: 22.
Projector and other media equipment is available for an additional usage fee.
When not reserved, this space is also available for quiet study.

Technology Classroom
10 Windows-based computers and one instructor station. Seats 10, plus instructor.
Projector available. Use of this space is restricted to library partners.


Study Space

Study spaces are free to use and available on a first come, first serve basis. Reserving the Teen Study Room for a specific time, however, may involve a rental fee.

Study Rooms A-D
2 chairs, double-occupancy desk. Maximum capacity: 2-3.

Teen Study Room
6 chairs, oblong table, white board. Maximum capacity: 10.

Technology Room
6 chairs around a half-moon table.
Use of this space may be limited.
