Writer’s Café

Welcome to the Marshall-Lyon County Library Writer’s Café! This will serve as a digital portal into the writing community offered by your local library.

Resources include weekly digital meetings, NaNoWriMo collaboration, and links to materials in our collection and other online resources that will help you with your writing projects.

November is National Novel Writing Month, but writing has no end date! Find out more at nanowrimo.org

These meetings are open to all writers from the region. There will also be dedicated writing time and the opportunity to share your work. Sessions are scheduled every Wednesday, with exceptions for holidays. There will be no session on November 11th.

Most Writing events will be held on discord, a free voice and chat service. You can access it directly from your computer’s web browser, or you can download the mobile app or the desktop app. You will need to sign up for an account with a valid email address before you can use it. You’re also welcome to chat throughout the week!
